Charleston
Bridge Photos FAQs - Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
1)
What form do your prints come in? Are they protected from damage during
shipping?
Each
of these collector’s items comes with in an acid free white
mat and is hand signed in pencil in sizes ready to be framed in a
store bought frame. Of course, we recommend taking your print to a
frame shop to put a custom protective frame/glass that matches your
décor. Included in the flat shipping fee are materials that
will protect your print during shipping such as bubble wrap.
2)
Is sales tax included in the price? Is shipping included?
No sales
tax is charged on these prints. Shipping charges are flat fees: $6
for purchases totaling between $35 and $50. $8 for purchases between
$50 and $100. $9 for purchases over $100. Included in this fee is
protective packaging for your bridge prints.
3)
When was the Ravenel in Color # 1 photo on the home page taken? I
don’t remember seeing the bridge lit in color.
It was
taken on Monday July 11th, 2005 during a gala on the Ravenel Bridge.
This was three days before the grand opening Fireworks ceremony on
July 14th in Charleston, SC.
4)
Do you offer your prints in larger sizes?
Yes,
please email us with specific size requirements and we will do our
best to accommodate your request. As a general rule, the prints will
enlarge to 24” x 36” with good resolution.
5)
I am interested in Charleston Bridge Art for my office, but we are
not in a position to purchase art at this time. Do you offer any art
leasing plans?
Yes,
we are in the process of putting together a plan where local Charleston
area businesses could essentially lease framed prints from us and
have them rotated on a regular basis without incurring the higher
cost of buying custom framed pieces.
6)
What kind of photography gear do you use?
I have a somewhat simple setup. I use a Nikon N80 body with Nikon
lenses. I have a 28-80mm lens for landscapes shots and a 70-300 mm
lens for distant shots. The 70-300mm was used on all of the fireworks
photos. I always use a tripod and shoot primarily Velvia 50 slide
film.
